The TVB445 manual bath is designed as a constant temperature bath or to perform accurate temperature control required for general laboratory purpose. Conforms to all requirements of ASTM D445 test method, it is suitable for applications requiring temperature control within an very high degree of stability, such as viscosity measurement. The heat input is controlled by a microprocessor system. A special optimized electronic temperature
measurement circuit ensures high accuracy and reproducibility of operation conditions. The baths has a cooling coil built-in as standard, for rapidly bringing the bath temperature down, or for working at sub-ambient temperature.
Construction
The TVB445 bath is constructed from corrosion-resistant materials – stainless steel and PTFE – entirely. They are effectively insulated against heat loss. The central microprocessor within the control module manages the controlling, the functions for temperature measuring and regulation, program storage, safety control and diagnostic. 7 openings with lids, arranged in two rows (or 8 openings - 2 x 4 - on request) are made in the stainless steel bath cover. These openings of 51mm diameter accommodate any type of glass capillary in holders. Methods
